I just finished installing my 6000k Bi-Xenon H13 headlight kit I ordered from Third Gear Performance. Tools used 8mm socket 10mm socket 1/2" socket Phillips Screwdriver Drill with whatever size bits you need. Start by making sure all necessary parts are there. Then remove both headlights and bulbs. Don't forget to disconnect the battery and Don't Touch The HID Bulbs!
For the Drivers side ballast, I mounted it against the support brace. This took the 1/2" socket. Passenger side was mounted underneath the air intake tube. Used one of the the holes already there and drilled out the second one. *If I did this again, I would mount the Passenger side the same way as the drivers. I'm not sure if it will hit any aftermarket intakes. *
Drivers side was grounded to an existing bolt in the fenderwell above the washer fluid reservoir. I also mounted the module on the same bolt. Passenger side was grounded to an existing ground also.
Install the bulbs inside the headlight housings and wire them up. I wrapped the connections in electrical tape just to make sure. Also wrapped the passenger side headlight connector to prevent water from shorting something out.
Finally, secure all wires and make sure they aren't near anything hot or against any moving parts. I wrapped mine with electrical tape and ran the passenger side underneath the radiator shroud, above the radiator. Removed radiator cover Tucked wires in and put cover back on
Don't have a better camera, but here's the pics I got that night. Need to adjust the beams down a little bit. I didn't get flashed by anyone, but my high beams are Way up in the trees. Low Beams High Beams Low Beams
So far It's been a year and everything has held up great. I had a loose ground (my fault) that caused flickering, but fixed the ground and fixed the flickering.
haha thanks. took me hooouuursss.... I figured nobody can throw a bitchfit that I copied it, cuz it was mine to begin with
