it would be cool to see different tunes for em. tad lower for the fx2 all around yet still be able to tow. what kind of interior stuff would you want to differ between them? HD to KR to XL theyre all different....so just tunes would be good? HD be a tad louder (I dont think I have EVER heard of a quiet harley), KR sit a tad taller and keep the tough leather seats, XL be quiet and have 110W plugs in the dash for plugging in laptops and stuff (wish I had that in my work truck so I dont have to worry about having a convertor all the time)
/facepalm Again, all you guys saying they are street queens, do you literally walk up to the owners and ask them? Why would you pay 50K for a truck SPECIFICALLY made to Offroad, then not use it. Answer: you don't. If you wanna spend that for a street truck, you buy a platinum/limited/Harley. I'm done trying to tell you guys to stop ASSuming things. If you're going to be that stubborn and ignorant to the fact a lot more Offroad then you think, so be it.
The interior is okay on the FX2 already. If they were to sport em up some more, maybe some Recaro style seats that hold you in. I always like the suede combo the L's had. As far as exterior, lower stance, lower profile tires and better rims that are at least 22". Bigger brakes, bigger sway bars. Under the hood, supercharger for the V8, or on the Ecoboost a better tune to pump MOAR power, free flowing performance exhaust.
And just exactly how do you "know" that 95# of them NEVER go Offroad. You see them on the street because you drive on the street. How often do you Offroad? Not all offroadin in a raptor has to be high speed. it's not a desert pre runner. If it was, it would be 2wd.
DUDE, like it's been said, how many people have YOU walked up to and asked how many times they've been off roading in their almost 60K dollar pickup. Why would someone buy a 60K off road truck, simply put, cause they can. Sure there's a few guys out there that use em for what they're built for, I'm sure of it. Then there's those guys that bought it because they thought it was cool. If you want to believe that many people off road em, fugg it then believe what you want. I believe the other way. I'm done arguing with YOU.
Pretty sure the 40 year old women around here aren't mobbing their raptors down muddy trails or running down the beach. I work at a carwash. I get to see most of the raptors in this town come through on a regular basis, I get to see which ones have real dirt on them and which ones don't. I DO in fact talk to Raptor owners about their trucks. I can match faces to almost every Raptor in town. I HAVE asked women raptor owners why they bought one. The answer? "it's big" or "it looks really cool". They spend 50k because their husbands work with oil (that's how it is around here anyway) and can afford to buy a raptor just cause it "looks cool" Sent from my Milestone X using Tapatalk 2
Do you ask them? A guy I know, several actually, are overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. their wives use the truck while they're away. Seriously, you guys need to realize its a daily driver, AS WELL AS an Offroad truck. OBVIOUSLY IT WILL BE SEEN CLEAN IN THE STREET.
Like I stated in an earlier post. I'm not saying thereby street queens. But there sure as hell ain't 90% of them that are.
