expect your torque numbers to be higher than that. you are running a boosted truck, and torque is ridiculous under pressure. i would venture a guess of 375-400 ft/lbs but i could be wrong... watchin to see
Im just trying to keep my expectations modest so I don't get let down if they're low haha but I sure hope so!
Did my plugs the other night. One heat range cooler gapped to .035". I also started mocking up my idler pulley. have it made out of wood, need to make it out of aluminum now. Also started installing my underdrive pulley. Removal was a synch but installing the new one has me stumped. The install tool in the kit i rented sits too far into the balancer and I can't get a wrench on the big nut. So then I tried to run in on with the crank bolt but i can't get the balancer on far enough by hand to get the bolt started. Any suggestions? Here's some pics of the process. Don't know if there's still interest in this over here but I'll update anyway. Been making some progress. Not moving as fast as I would like but I guess thats the nature of the beast right? Idler bracket done, belt routed, under drive pulley on, re routed upper rad hose, and fuel injectors done.
