Performance related that is .. for MPG

    1) AFE stage II intake, very loud but good looks .. seen a increase in MPG about 1mpg and definitely felt a throttle increase. Very happy with this intake so far.

    2) Roush exhaust, very slick, looks killer and sound is AMAZING. Again paired with the AFE noticed another 1mpg gain.

    3) SCT Livewire TS .. now I have only ran 2 custom tunes out of the 6 I have so here are my reviews ..
87 performance .. better than stock feel on the throttle and smoother shifts threw-out the power band. Gian of 1.5 mpg with above mods.
91 performance ... WOW, feels like a rocket off the line, little to know pedal and she is off .. instant throttle response. Over stock and 87 per the 91 makes this truck feel like a sport truck .. almost like the lighting of old.
Surprisingly enough on this tune netted me 2.5 mpg over the rest.

I am now sitting on 17 mpg city hand calculated with the mods listed on the 91 performance tune. That is with a 2" level and 34" toyo mt's and 3:73 gears and a mild foot.

Not bad IMO, just thought I would share my experiences so far and before the Boss 302 install.

I said I will never own another f150 but with the 5.0 and that result, Im kinda changing my mind. Always said my next vehicle will be a 2010-present Mustang with a 5.0, F250 6.7, or Cummins. I may end up with a 5.0 1fiddy hmmmmmmm...

3.55's are what killing you. 3.73 or at most 4.10 and you'll be nice

I just installed 285/75R18 35.1x11.4R18 Toyo Mt's on my 2012 6.7S F250 FX4 Screw 3.55 with the E-Locker i average about 20.5 hwy was around 22-26 before (no tunes till i hit 125000 miles gotta pass that warranty period first) Im happy with mine course 400HP and 800TQ tends to help push those 35" muds If your thinking about getting an F250 go for it my lowest numbers driving around to 35-55 are 16.5-18 or so trust me worth the extra pennies. FYI all calculations are hand calculated and my Lie-O-Meter is always within .1-.5 of my hand calculations.

I purchased a 2013 f150 SCREW EB 2wd with 3:55, when I drove this beast home it was doing 19.5average MPGs that soon changed when I purchased Cooper AT3s 265/75 R18 and the mileage deteriorated , best was 14.3-15.2.. Soon after I purchased SCT x4 from MPT and got custom tunes, from this point I gained 15.3-15.8 my wife got me a stage II AFE intake and I didn't see any improvement, got some MAK performance Y pipe catless and then added a tonneau cover and now I have seen a huge improvement I've done a best of 19.7 with this combo, can't imagine what it'd be like with stock size tires.. Still doing 14-15 mpg combines city and hwy.. Mostly city..
