We pulled the trigger on the new car yesterday. Instead of something expensive and luxurious we can barely afford we we t with something a little cheaper that we will pay off a little quicker. Low payments, low apr, we have such good credit we could basically do whatever we wanted with the loan terms ha ha. We got it for 13900, it's an 05 with 107k on it. Jeep liberty limited, crd 4cyl turbo, part time 4wd, 4hi, 4lo, navigation, but it's old school navigation, no touch screen ha ha. It's pretty much loaded for 2005. It needs brakes and tires, they were asking 16000 for it but I got them down based on the brakes and tires. We wanted something with low miles, but with the cheaper price tag and lower payments a 3 year payoff is the plan, make the payments for 3 years, then pay off the balance. It's not a ford but with a diesel I think it will outlast our escape by easily double. Pics! City driving! Sent from your Mom's house using Tapatalk
Yep a 4cyl turbo Mercedes built crd. It's a pretty torquey little rig. Sent from your Mom's house using Tapatalk
i'm gonna show my wife this. not for that specific truck, but the diesel aspect. she's been tired of gas fluctuating $.30-.40 in a week. I tell her my diesel has $.10 swings, and it mostly dips not rises. now she's mulling over a diesel.
Diesel is an awesome route. I would have preferred the crd grand Cherokee but this is a little more affordable. There arent A lot of mid size diesel SUVs out there. I think there are the two jeeps, Mercedes, BMW, and vw. And of course the excursion ha ha. Would you guys be looking at a car like. Vw tdi or an SUV? Sent from your Mom's house using Tapatalk
Porsche has a diesel SUV as well, certainly in most peoples price range... Something that might get frustrating with the jeep is that some of the diesel pumps(the ones the pump really fast for big rigs) won't fit into the liberty even though they'll fit into your truck
