In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
Bee, I got my key from Walmart a few years ago and it works perfect. its a bit larger than the normal ford key, but it works every time.

On a side note, I thought I read somewhere that these trucks, 2 or 4wd, should always and only be towed on a flat bed. can anyone confirm? cant remember where I heard this from...

Thanks Vano ! def going to call wal-mart on my way back home.

I was backed in so he got under my truck put it in neutral and rolled it out. While it was up there he crawled back under and put it back in park, lowered it and went around and raised the back end. I was in a parking garage and had no other way to get it out :(

As long as you're not towing it too far I wouldn't think it would matter too much. Now if it were going on a long trip I'd most certainly want a flatbed. I prefer flatbeds anyway. Every car I've owned has been lowered, so the classic tow truck has always been out of the question for me.

if its two wheel drive then you can tow from the rear wheels but fourwheel drive your best bet is just a flat bed. you can tow a 4x4 by the rear but you have to put the transfer case in neutral but trailer is the best. what happens if you dont tow it right and the drive shaft is spinning as its being towed itll spin clutches in the tranny but the pump wont be going because the motor isnt running so itll scorch clutches on anything around over like 30 miles but never good regardless

gotcha, dang thats no beuno. good news is though that at least if you were anywhere sketchy or rainy youd always at least be able to get in your truck an lock it or stay dry
