So as most know, I want to keep my 4.30 in the rear end if I go to a 4wd conversion. The problem is they don't make a reverse cut 4.30 for the 8.8.

I saw on Extreme 4x4 that they flipped and reverse a rear axle (not sure what kind) to make it a front axle. The only mod they needed to do (aside from choppin it up and addin the essentials for the front conversion) was add an oil baffle so the ring flings oil over everything, as it does in the rear end. Is this something that can be done w/ the 8.8, allowing me to have a 4.30 in the rear end? Bueller? Bueller?

I saw that show too, just can't remember when. You should be able to do that with any axle housing as long as you get it to turn the right way.
