Can a 6.2 be swapped into our trucks

    So I'm wondering if our 6.2 can be swapped into our trucks.Just talked to a friend of mine(basically a rich kid)he just flipped his Raptor.Body is junk.He will just buy a new one he said.

    Just asked me if i would be interested in buying the motor and the tranny from him.

    Can i jut take everything and swap it into my truck?I imagine i will have to do some fab(no problem with me).Anything else i should know,please let me know.Thanks guys

    You would need EVERTHING and then some. You may have to fab motor mounts, trans mounts, driveshaft, cooling system, gauges, wiring harness, computer, exhaust, and other things Im forgetting.

    Hell if I had the chance to buy something like that, you best believe I would try it. I dunno if I would want a motor with 16 spark plugs tho...

    i say get all this stuff listed and give it a shot, what do you have to lose?

    Im not saying the swap wouldnt work. Hell the mounts may be the same. Other things to worry about would be clearance with control arms, firewall, brake master cylinder and ac stuff.

    do it. if you can get that engine and tranny for a cheap price, then ull atleast save a lot for everything else. but that would be sick!!
