Does backwoods have a 04+ truck? If so, Id be willing to bet that motor will bolt in his truck. I mean it would still be a hard swap but it should fit.

I have driven the limited with the 6.2.Hell yes it hauls ass.

Ya the fab i have no problem doing.I'm wondering tho everything else i had to buy aftermarket. How much would i expect to spend minus complete motor and tranny?Thats my main concern.

Also what a good price to approach him with for the complete motor/tranny?

    Supercrewzn-I have a 2007 XLT Supercab

Well being alittle rich kid.His mood comes and goes.lol

I know for a fact tho he will try for the highest dollar amount.

01f1502wd-He will want all the money up front. If i took the whole truck itself. He would charge me for that also.Just the way he is

It sounds as if it may be more hassle than it is worth.

Ya i was thinking it would be a big hassle. But worth a shot to see whats all involved.I am still thinking about it.Maybe buy the complete motor/tranny.Set it aside and start alittle fund for what i will need.

Thats also why i asked what is a good price to aproach him with.
