I want to change out the factory green back light behind my gauge cluster, power window lock switches, ac/ heat switches and 4x4/ headlight switches. I dont now how expensive/ pain in the ass it would be to remove all the stuff and if anyone can do it. I think there is someone on here that can do it but I cant remember who

I did all my dash lights to red but you have to pull the needles to sand the green off the back of the gauge faces. All you do in the back is replace the bulbs with leds. I want to do my door controls eventually also. I think Thomas is the one you are thinking off, I believe he put blue leds in everything

Yup I did a blue led swap in my truck. I don't know if there is a difference in the 04-08 though.

I can do it but but I won't guarantee them to work for the rest of the time you have the truck. Mine all still work except one. I don't know the lifespan on the LEDs and there not meant to be in the switches.

Mine have been in the truck for about 4-5 months. The one that isn't working is a loose solder joint I believe.

Its not a problem but the LEDs are just a tad bigger than the stock ones.
