hey guys...so I brought in my 2004 F150 XL for a recall on my airbag thing. I was told that my rotors and shoes/pads need replacing....anyone know a good brand of rotors to go with and a some new pads?

I want to try to tackle this myself, I've changed brakes (fronts only) on my 1990 Fox Body stang...is it the same way?

Thanks guys...again..want to try to tackle this one myself.

All 4 have calipers so no drums to deal with. The only thing on the rears are the 3-brake is in a drum, so if the rotors have never been changed it may take a little "love" to take the rotor off. I used a rubber mallet.

As for brands I used Hawk LTS pads. First time I used them and I think they will be my goto pad from now on.

I use the middle grade ones from VatoZone, and they work great, and I haven't paid for a set in years. Lifetime Warranty FTMFW :peace:
