It worked out great. It was easy to do and took about half an hour. The only **** part was sanding the end into the "oval". I followed this write up (Do It Yourself Intake Modification for 2004-2008 - F150online Forums), and this is how mine turned out: As a side note, the intake on our trucks looks like a damn grenade launcher:
Thinking about changing my fuel filter today, then giving er a wash and wax. I also located the leak in my cab resulting in moisture in the passenger floor. I will post up my findings later.
