Looks good man I did this about a month ago to my 4.6 and i removed my silencer i can hear it sucking in more air for sure but not sure performance wise considering since i got a work van i haven't even emptied a tank of gas
Nice thing is i got enough pipe left to do another one so I might make it and sell it to a guy at work for 10 bucks and profit 3 bucks and a free mod I got a 24" piece at lowes and I really think you can cut it 8" and make 3 of em. So if you and your buds want to make them it'd be dirt cheap. 2 bucks a clamp and think 5 for the pipe so if you got 3 out of it you would have less than 4 bucks each in it. Or you could sell the other two...just dont offer to put it on. Im not lyin that end piece is hell to pull off. I had 4 flat head screw drivers shoved around it to pry it out.
i wont have to worry bout that. when i test fit it I almost didnt get it pulled out. Its a tight fit goin in the hole. Was thinkin...dang now i got a white pvc pipe stickin out the fender that everyone will scratch the head and say hey, wtf is that for lol.
