I'm running +7 for mine. Are you worried about sshifting too hard with a trailer or something?

I always run high octane fuel on the performance setting, I shift at 5,500 rpms in 1st , 5,250 in second , and 5000 in 3rd

I used to shift at 6000 in 1st just for the Hell of it but I turned the rpms down

Oooh I see what you mean now. I have my first 2 at 5000 and 3-4 at 4900. I found a HP chart and I think these keep me in the powerband the best. Peak power is at 4300 I think.

Your shift points should not change your mpg's enough for you to notice.

It should stay the same because those are WOT shifts. For standard shift points I have them stock, except 3-4 is at -3, so it goes into overdrive sooner.
