Fixing My Scratches - Turtle Wax Hard Compound

my buddy needs to do that....he tries to take a wide pathfinder thru narrow jeep trails

 

nice vano. i like megs ultimate compound that stuff works great too.

 

so just an update...

the Heavy Duty compound does GREAT at removing scratches, however it will leave swirl marks.

You will have to come back and use a Polishing Compound the same way you use this Heavy compound. I also put a coat of Meguiars wax on after the polishing compound and it is NICE! I'll take some pics when I go out at lunch to show where I have and havent polished.

And I am contemplating putting a fresh coat of GLAZE on after I get the panels all nice. Glaze will make the clearcoat sparkle again if you hadnt heard of it. it is HIGHLY corrosive to the skin so unlike these other compounds, gloves are a must FYI.
