How does the cost compare to replacing with stock? its going to need new springs soon so Id rather get lowering springs if they dont cost too much more. this is meant to be a disposable car so i dont want to invest a bazillion dollars in modding it. Doesnt mean I dont want to have fun with it but im going to keep it simple. This is my first car, ive owned nothing but trucks so lowering kits and car suspension is going to be completely new to me.
I wish it was. Love me some Jettas. If anything, attack that badboy with some Compound, then Glaze it. It should look just as good. That is if you feel comfortable with a buffer.
I just have a little 6 inch craftsman buffer, so Im not scared of em but Im not a buffing artist ha ha.

i'm down for the handling and the looks of a lower car, but for me, being a man of quite large size, it just makes a small car even smaller haha
H&R seems to work better on American cars. I never liked them on VW's, they were always too stiff. Could be a weight thing, who knows. Sent from my iPhone4 using Tapatalk
I booked marked that, thanks for the lead! Ill have to look into those farther when it comes time to replace the springs. Its tough for me too, im pretty tall, Im not a big big guy, just tall so its hard to find cars that Im not folded up inside. This is surprisingly comfortable. thanks man!
