How to on painting axles?

    Does anyone have one of these? I wanna paint my axles and rear diff but I was told you need a certain paint cause you dont wanna trap heat it. I plan on having a full undercoat done and they said they wont touch leaf springs, shocks and axles

    Ive never heard that one... Think about this, while you are driving the axles are getting airflow. They wont build heat while you are sitting still. Someone was blowing smoke up yer azz.

    My s10's rear end was painted with high heat chevy orange paint and I never had a problem with it

    X2 they only get a little hot when pulling a big trailer only time mine got hot was when I pulled a green chop wagon full of rye grass
