    i should only need the new tranny (4x4's are shorter due to the transfercase), T-case, front drive shaft, rear drive shaft, front axle and cv joint, and then a flash from the dealer... truck is already pre-wired from Ford for the On-The-Fly Elec shifting.

    there was a guy selling a whole front end with transfercase around where i live for about 300

    DAMN! I'da drove there for it too, or atleast gave your dad my money for him to get it. hahaha. and yea Cowboy, i'll be lookin for a donor wrecked truck indeed.

    its my first truck, my first new vehicle. plan on keeping it til the world ends or i do, whichever comes first. plus, i think it would be a fun conversion for me and a buddy to do in the driveway. might not even make it a 4x4 if i end up getting my 250 I want this year, that'll be 4x4 for sure and the gf is just gonna get this one...

    that is an understatement lol.

    ok, sorry for jackin the thread Cowboy... i'll be watchin to see how it turns out for sure.
