Alright so I took on the piece with the ridges that I had connected to my PVC pipe of my gotts mod and replaced it with the rubber hose clamp thing. Someone told me the ridged piece was the silencer and restricted airflow.
I also installed my HIDs this weekend, and now I got a service engine light.
After I saw the light I put the ridged piece back on and went to my original gotts mod set up and I still have the light coming on.
Anyone have an idea as to what could be wrong?

Did you disconnect your neg battery cable? I did the Gotts mod and removed all the silencers AND put in a K&N filter with no codes

Story of my life... I'm a perfectionist, if something about my truck isn't right, it'll bother me till I get it fixed. I still gotta fix my back left window that won't roll down.
And thanks I'll try the cable thing

pull the code before you pull the cable. pulling the neg cable only resets your system and will (most of the time) just temporarily remove the code. pull the code so you can know what the engine is trying to tell you.
