Well if y'all remeber my truck, probably not, but i have a 6in lift, and tried to keep my stock wheels so i had to get 1.5" wheel spacers. After going down to valdosta GA to visit my lady, my steering wheel was shaking like hell all the way back home to suwanee GA. I thought i needed a wheel balance really bad, but look what i found:

yep, my left front wheel was being held on by one lug nut, for god knows how long. Very thankful that didn't fall off going 80mph. Anyway! I then decided to get bigger tires, and mainly wheels to get rid of those damn things. So i bumped down to 17" wheels, because i love the big tire/ small wheel look. and they're cheaper. I then got 35x12.50 firestone mt's. I love em. Got a good deal on em too!

yes i know there arent any center caps, but the ones that came with the wheels were big and chrome. I don't like chrome, and even if i did, there's nothing chrome on my truck for them to go with. So im going to make some eventually. Ummmmm, Yeah, i think that's about it. Hope y'all like it!

holy shat! thats some scary **** dude. glad you and the truck is safe.

thats one reason i will NEVER use wheel spacers. just sounds like trouble lol

gotta agree with you on the bigger tire smaller rim idea, i hate big rims.

I learned the hard way about wheel spacers back in 1983.
    Those things should be outlawed.

    Truck looks great.

Ya those new wheels and tires look great! You know you could always just paint the caps that came with them black until you make your own. :peace:

Do the caps silver, and it'll look sex. Great choice in wheels.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I couldnt believe it when i noticed that spacer. I was cruising 80mph the whole way. And in the left lane against the median wall. Someone was lookin after me, it could've been a WHOLE lot worse. I was thinkin the same thing about spraying my caps black or silver too. Or get the black caps off the black version of my wheel. Oh yeah, My wheels are 17x9, if anyone was wondering.
