Realizing that a lot of people don't need to transport 11 rods, I've come up with a new rod rack design. This one would hold 3 rods, cost a lot less, and would not take up much space at all. Here's the design I came up with...sorry in advance for my graphic design skills...there's only so much you can do in Paint. I'm still making the large version that holds 11 rods too, but this one would better suit the guy who just likes to carry a few rods for some recreational fishing. I'm still incorporating the security feature that allows you to lock the rods to the truck so no ones can swipe them. Let me know if anyone's interested.

    Here's the original large size

    And the new compact design

    EDIT: Finished Product
Price for one side is $110 plus shipping. For two sides, the price will be $180. An optional security feature can be added to both sides for an additional $45, which consists of stainless steel rubber coated cable and lock to secure rods to the rack/truck.

I would be interested. What would it cost? How far down can you go for more? I got a tonneau cover on my mine so the this new one would work for me better.

I will measure it up but I can go down the bed floor if you'd like for more rod holders. I'm sending you a PM

Updated pics. It's gonna look mean when it's done. The rod holders aren't bolted in yet, I just stuck them in to give you a better idea. Also, the top piece isn't mounted yet either in the pics
