How does that mount? I like it, a little rich for me, but that is high workmanship for sure

    Great work bud

Thanks. It mounts using one 5/8" bolt utilizing the hole in the side of the bed in the corner by the cab. Once bolted in, it's flush with the corner of the bed and perfectly tight.

Cool I like that you coated it too, those are top quality rod holders you mounted in the wood too! Those are the stainless ones right?

I have a tool box so that would have my Tool box stick pretty far out. I have to think about it, I just got a job as a Kayak fishing guide. I usually just lay them in the bed, but you know how that goes :D

They're actually abs plastic rod holders. They can hold my Penn International 130 rods on 7'8" bent butt rods, which is the biggest rod/reel you can buy, and they do just fine. The stainless rod holders are about $30 each for the cheapest so it would be too expensive and overkill anyways since you wouldn't be trolling and having a fish strike while in the rod holder. I'm currently designing a rod rack that would mount to a tool box without any drilling though, so stay tuned!

So how would the Tool Box mount work? Would it be universal?

Well that one would require drilling but I'm working on one that wouldn't

Ok cool, I want to get a rod rack on my tool box but I don't wanna drill into a $475 toolbox

I completely understand. I drew that up for a few guys that didn't mind drilling, but I don't think their box was as expensive as yours ;)
