Painted my fog lights

    light output wasn't affectd at all just as i thought, its actually better since these new fogs have clear lenses unlike my old glazed over fogs.

    not gonna lie, it was such a pain in the ass to get them apart and seal them back up that i never wana do another set again :jester: good luck though haha

    250* for 10 minutes at a time. be very careful with the srewdriver, take your time lol. It probably took me a solid hour to get each light apart

    screwdriver or would it be easier with a knife cutting the seal?

    you can use both. i used the screwdriver to pry the corner of the lense up to where i could get a knife in there to cut the adhesive

    I got the same bad fog light. I'm going to do the same when I get settled in the house.

    oh and another thing, when you get ready to tape over the chrome make sure to stick the tape to a cotton shirt 4 or 5 times to make it less sticky. the chrome on the fog light is so weak that tape can actually pull the chrome off the plastic.
