It could be a starter block but idk why it would just start to do this out of no where. When i got my truck it came with a starter block. wouldn't even turn over untill i pressed a button. Like tyler said it could be something to do with the PATS

another idea...check the voltage on your battery. i know you said its relatively new, but sometimes you can get a bad cell in them. low voltage can cause this to happen. it would also explain why jumping it worked.

If the voltage was small wouldn't it at least click?

you need to check amps not volts, that battery could show 14 volts but if its only got like .5 amps that aint gonna do squat. Amps are the power

I don't have another key up in Boulder with me, but I will be back in Houston on Friday. The battery is a Optima Yellow Top. I will see if jumping it gets it started as i'm leaving to drive home Thursday afternoon. Once home I will be able to address the rest of it. Just wanted to bounce some ideas off and see what you guys thought. I'm stumped, on what the true problem is, I just hope jumping it will work this time because i'm ready to be back in the great state. I will keep you guys posted, Thanks for all the ideas.
