    Yeah texas law says they have tail light have to be visible from 500 or 1000 feet, and brake lights visible up to 1500 (I think) Don't quote me on it though, and they have to reflect red...

    down here they wont inspect your truck with it

    its all about who you know lol...back when I had my mustang, my tails were blacker than sin, and alot of shops wouldn't inspect me because of it. But i had a buddy who knew a guy that worked at the goodyear in town and he passed me in about 5 minutes...quickest inspection ive ever had lol

    that's why my tailights are just smoked with 1 mild coat. now with my reflectors in my headlights blacked out i can't pass inspection when i get it next year that's why i kept the factory headlights

    it's ok i got the stock heads i'll throw together when i need inspection, plus blacked out reflector looks badass
