    the only thing i would worry about is the color not matching, if thats what youre going for.

    Nah it will be close enough and the black will break it up enough. For the fx4 guys.

    You'll have to remove the alignment pins. Easy enough. Tailgate one has clips instead, still easy.

    BUT...you need to sand some material off of each end of the tailgate emblem. I didn't and it looks like shat cuz it don't sit flush. They are meant to sit in a groove in the tailgate that our trucks don't have. At least, I can't remember 04-08 having it.
