    The edge is totally worth the money, even if nothing else for the gauges.

    Yep.. I have a custom tuned SCT Xcal 2 by VMP but wish I went with an Edge (upgraded to Gryphon).

    I end up buying a ScanGuage II a year later. Wish I had all the gauges in one spot!

    Can't speak to the Edge, never owned one.

    But I do have a Superchips Cortex 1950. I have no complaints or bad things to say about it. Easy to load, adjust settings, updates latest/greatest features and settings via the net, they offer beta testing for new/improved/upgraded features and tunes, has a dash mounted display and other features to it.

    And of course, I can't compare the Cortex to the Edge or any other brand tuner, since I've never owned any others. Can simply state I'm a satisfied owner of a Superchips tuner.
