So I think I need a throttle position sensor. But this will be the 4th one I have put in the truck in just over 3 years. I have know idea why they keep going bad. So here is what it does. When I come to a stop the RPMs drop untill it dies. Or if I just slow down to take a tight turn they will drop and it will die. It has stoped for a bit every time I replace the TPS but I am getting tired of replacing them.
I don't think its your TPS, more like your IAC, take it off and clean it with brake cleaner, also replace your PCV valve, they are cheap.
You reminded me of a similar issue that my cuz was experiencing in his 04 several years ago, when he would turn really tight like a u-turn his truck would die, and would also do it when you slam on the brakes at a red light. Ended up being a fuel pump issue, hope its not for you too.
well its even if you come to a slow stop ...... it started it on me earlier today .... i kinda drive like grand pa ......
