Decided after 48K to upgrade the brakes on the Ranger.
The last time it was done was by the Ford stealership @ 53K.
I had new front rotors and front and rear friction pads/shoes done then.

Went with Wagner Thermo Quiet Ceramic.

Wheel is off. Upgraded to the larger Roush sway bar and newer all metal end links this past year.

Custom wire hanger for the caliper.

Not quite down to the wear notch in the center of the old pads.

Non directional finish rotor resurfacing equipment. Not so easy doing the inboard side.

Off with the old hardware, on with the new.

New meat for the twin piston calipers.

Don't forget to ultra lube the caliper slide pins and wash evreything down with brake parts spray cleaner waiting for it to dry completely.

Little over an hour, the right side went way faster than the left. Time lost gathering tools and fighting off leg cramps on the first side. Will do a break in of the brakes later this afternoon.
