it looked similar to this just primer'd with yellow buggy/daytona style wheels so me and him said we would paint it john deere green
looks like your in thesame boat as me...I may see something cool goin down the road and then I will want to build something similar (with my own twist to it)
Depends on the Baja Bug, but some of them are poorly done. Most of the time they've been chopped up and are still sitting on stock Beetle suspension. If you're looking to make one into a Baja make sure and use a little less rare model. It's awful seeing someone cut a pre-64 up. I've helped a VW buddy of mine restore a 55 Beetle some ya-hoo carelessly chopped up in a poor attempt of making a Baja out of it. That 55 turned out killer in the end. I prefer VW powered rail buggy's rather then Baja Beetles. Just my take on it, but those rails are a hell of a lot more fun, trust me! These things are scary fast even powered by a mildly built VW motor.
