Chalk the ebay deal up as one that was too good to be true. They are Weathertechs... but they are a long shot from being new. They arrived in the factory box wrapped in enough packing tape to build an airplane and the box had obviously been around the block a time or two. There was a place on the box where one of those invoice packs had been and at least 2 name/addresses written in sharpy and marked out on the back. Hell, there's even an Amazon return invoice inside the box where that they were shipped to someone with an extended cab (didn't fit) last year. They have been slid around enough that they are scuffed all to hell, there's a chunk broken off of the installation flange in the corner and there are water spots on them where someone washed them off before returning. They are also missing the clips that hold the bottom edge next to the mirror. I guess they could feel the vein pulsing in my forehead because after messaging the seller this morning they immediately issued a full refund and didn't even mention returning them. My first ebay scam deal. Guess I've been lucky up to this point.
Very true. I don't know if the scuffs will buff out with plastic polish or not. The cost for ordering the AVS would probably be worth my time in trying to buff them regardless. They're worthless without those clips anyway. I stuck one in the channel last night and it will pop right out without that bottom clip to hold it up.
true. if you dont have that tab that goes down towards the mirror, the first gust of wind will toss that summa bish up and back like a boomerang. Watch them cars behind you swerve for high hell too lol. My Inlines are from PUTCO btw. Everyone keeps mentioning Weathertech and AVS but I didnt see anyone w/ PUTCO. I think I got my Inline set for under $80 for all 4 SCrew.
