alright so already found out today that my aftermarket oil pressure gauge wont read pressure. not sure what it is. i felt the sending unit after the truck had been warmed up for about an hour, the unit was cold. aint it supposed to be warm since the oil is coming into it?

ill figure that problem out later.

new problem that i just noticed.

i shifted the truck in to reverse and tried to roll the window down. wouldnt roll down, passenger side wouldnt roll down either. finally i heard a relay click (what it sounded like) the 4x4 light came on on the dash, then went off and my windows worked fine.

tried to reenact the problem. shifted into reverse, heard a click, windows wouldnt roll down, heard a click, 4x4 light came one, light went off and windows worked fine.

i had another problem this morning on a cold start up. turned truck on, turned the heat on and put the truck in reverse. RPMs jumped about 200 over idle, dropped back to normal idle, jumped back up, went back down, and kept doing this until i turned the heat off. no problems after that. heat works fine, A/C. i dont have a clue what is going on lol.

i hope this is a GEM problem. any ever hear of something similar to this? i have no other electrical issues with the vehicle aside from the oil gauge but that is wired on its own like i do with everything i wire up.

Did ya change anything other than the power wire to the aux fuse.
Maybe it has caused a magnetic field induction being closer to the firewall now.
Sorry Chris. I'll put my tinfoil hat back on now.

By the time I got my son to mom-mom's it was
too late to go see the mower man. I'll check it out Monday.

These problems only happen after you we're redoing your wiring?

i sure hope so. i know it happened the other day but i cant remember if it was before or after the wiring.

joe could have a point, there could be some induction happening with the bigger wire and some smaller wires. it could be causing a relay to click.

like i said i have no other electrical problems.
