Which one to get?

    First off the red mustang fell through, and I think I would use one of these more!


    Here are my two offers. ( trading my Harley)

    1st, I havent seen this one in person but it is a 88 4 runner
    Here is what I know about it right now
    It has a 4 cyl. 10" lift (IFS) 5.29 gears front/back on 37" co op tires, no carpet, 2 sets of front seats, hurculined around the bottom ( rockers) and PTM

    2nd is a 1987 4 runner, I have seen this one in person
    Here are the detail's

    chevy 5.3 v8 under the hood with a turbo 350 trans and manual valve body
    all pro springs front/ rear ( has a straight axle already)
    locked front/ rear ( welded spider gears) with 4.10 gears
    high steer chomoly axle shafts in the rear
    has a longfeild for the front, front axle has just beenrebuilt
    38" swamper tsl
    Full custom ( professionally) installed roll cage
    custom front/ rear bumpers, 8000lb warn winch in front ( new)

    I am planning on it being a toy but not too rough on it! I cant decide which one I want. I think I want the one with the v8, it has the roll cage, sas, motor, winch, no body damage other than some rolled finders. everything looks good on it. I will rhino line the interior.

    The 88 looks to be in better shape IMO

    If you take away the paint job on both, they both got a straight body and interior

    i would go with the 87

    I would choose the one without the welded spider gears unless it's only going to be mud toy. You can't drive it on streets without risk of breaking axle.

    I will be removing that from the rear and putting in a locker. the front dosnt matter as much because they are manual hub locks. But thanks for the heads up!

    It wont be done soon though. and the truck wont be driven on the road too much

    Well I guess I'll go with the 87 then. Just not to fond of the 5.3 chevy. Lol
